One-way (clutch) Bearing The CSK series is a one-way (clutch) bearing. One way Bearing Sprag/Clutch Freewheel and also called as Backstops. The one-way bearings are used in any application that requires one direction rotation, such as mining, hydraulic, textile, printing and washing machines, conveyor systems that carry products to a higher level should not be reversed because of gravity during any power shortage.

Type CSK is sprag bype freesheel integrated into a 62 series ball bearing(except sizes 8 and 40).It is bearing supported,delivered grease lubricated and protected against dust of more than 0.3mm .The use of additional "nylos"type seals is recommeded especially when the working teperature ecceeds 50oC. Oil bath lubrication is also possible if the original grease is first flushed out using a suitable solvent. Torque transmission is ensured by a press fit assembly into a rigid outer housing with N6 tolerance.and onto a shaft with n6 tolerance. The initial bearings radial clearance is set at C5,and is reduced if using the press fit as apecified. One race may be glued. If both races are to be glued performance will be reduced or a    C3 bearing clearance will be necessary. Operating temperature range:-40oC to +130oC ,peaks up to +150oC are acceptable for short periods. Csk 2rs is 5mm wider but is equipped with lipi seals to be water splash resistant.
