1. Introduction Of Ball Joint Rod End bearing

A rod end bearing, also known as a heim joint (N. America) or rose joint (U.K. and elsewhere), is a mechanical articulating joint. Such joints are used on the ends of control rods, steering links, tie rods, or anywhere a precision articulating joint is required. A ball swivel with an opening through which a bolt or other attaching hardware may pass is pressed into a circular casing with a threaded shaft attached. The threaded portion may be either male or female.

1. Rod body with right or left hand female thread

2. Outer race lined with bronze liner

3. Surface of rod body zine plated, rod bady with a lubricating hole or grease nipple

4. For left hand thread, please add suffix "L", e.g. PHSL 8

Features Of Rod End Bearings

All balls are precision ground and heat treated. Threads are rolled to appropriate classifications. Series with PTFE lined raceways all feature proprietary AT 3200 liner system, fully qualified to AS81820 for smooth backlash-free fit.

Female

Rod ends with internal or female threads. male rod ends, all are made with the solid, or one-piece race construction method and feature the advantages of metal-to-metal contact between bearing components. All balls are precision ground and heat treated.
