AS20 One Way Clutch Bearing One Clutch AS20 = NSS20 AS20 is a one-way clutch that is used for Overrunning, Indexing and Backstopping, this type is non-bearing supported, this is exactly the same size as any 6204 ball bearing, you will need one of the 6204 beairngs to support it, One way Bearing Sprag/Clutch Freewheel and also called as Backstops. AS20 is used in any application that requires one direction rotation, such as mining, hydraulic, textile, printing and washing machines, conveyor systems that carry products to a higher level should not be reversed because of gravity during any power shortage.

The AS(roller ramps) or TSS(cams) clutch description:
| Type AS is a roller type freewheel non bearings supported. |
| Bearings are required to support axial and radial loads. Lubrication and sealing must also be provided by the installation. |
| Nominal outside dimensions are the same as series 62 ball bearings. |
| A typical arrangement is to install this type alongside a series 62 bearing, within the same location tolerance. |
| The inner race is keyed to the shaft(except 6mm bore). |
| The outer race has a positive R6 tolerance to give a press fit in a H7 housing. |
| The outer housing must be strong enough to not expand after assembly. |
| The desigh can accept an axial misalignment of inner and outer race of +_S/2. |
