Rolling bearings used in bearing support of refrigerator compressors have made important contributions to improving energy efficiency. Thrust ball bearings are especially suitable for bearing support of eccentric shafts of refrigerator compressors. It replaces the plain bearings normally used in this installation position in refrigerator compressors and reduces the energy consumption of the entire compressor by 5%. By using such energy-efficient bearings, the rated energy efficiency of the compressor can be upgraded by one level.
Various cages and bearing thrust ferrule sets
Four different types of thrust ball bearings can be combined freely. There are two types of ferrules with and without raceways. The cages can be made of plastic or stamped steel. All materials meet environmental requirements. They are very well matched to the freezing liquid and are resistant to different temperatures.
The narrow, high-rigidity stamped steel cage is a special highlight. The cage is even more suitable than conventional plastic cages used in this bearing position because of the higher temperatures. In addition, no cryogen matching test is required. The raceway of the thrust ferrule provides a safer guidance and better load distribution for the ball, reducing wear and extending service life. There are also double-sided raceways for improved installation safety.
In the basic design, the thrust bearing ring is stamped, hardened and polished, and both sides can be used as raceways. Special size bearings can be customized according to the installation location.
